3) ONLY measure the WIDTH of the four tops of your knuckles where your fingers attach to your hand (from your Index Pointer Finger Knuckle all the way across to your Pinky Knuckle)
4) If your hand measures 4 Inches or UNDER in width then the 599 FOX Karambit Black G10 Knife is going to be the BETTER FIT for your hand.
5) Again, If you hand is 4 Inches or UNDER in width, we STRONGLY suggest that you DO NOT order the 479 or 479TK Karambit Knives as they will NOT fit your hand properly, as they are meant for XXL Size Hands and any returns will cause a 15% restocking fee we don't want you to incur.

just received mine.
before I had these, I had a few fake copies from china... after playing a lot with these for a few months, I noticed they had much play and where not stable anymore. the metal is much softer and not good quality.
and after buying the Dart knife & trainer, I learned about the FOX quality so...
I now also bought the 599 Karambit & trainer.
and as with the Dart Knife, the knife itself as with with the trainer are both high-end quality products.
there is no play on both products, and everything feels very solid and strong.
sure NOT to compare with the fake replica ones from china!!!
what was I thinking!!
very glad to have these. :)

I have been training with a fixed karambit for a while but wanted something I can legally carry most places. I followed the suggested tweaks on the video plus polished the back of the clip, and it deploys very quickly. The blade is very nice and sharp though I did polish the edge a bit further just to satisfy my OCD. The trainer is equally high quality. Once I got used to handling it, I have used it for EDC daily. The less-than-2.5 inch folding blade is very helpful as it is legal almost anywhere I would go. Everything about the knife is ergonomically sound and well thought out. Overall both the knife and the trainer are a tremendous value.

I really like the way this Karambit deploys quickly and smoothly. Highly recommend the training knife for practice, but it is also a great impact weapon. We are using it in our Martial Art Studio.

For those reading the reviews you've probably looked at several Karambit blades. The deciding factor for me is/was the Emerson deployment. It's what sets this Karambit far apart from others. The quality of the blade is fantastic as well as the rest of materials. Very, very pleased.

The Emerson's deployment is the key to the success of this knife!
First order came in a week… second order 6 weeks… must be the demand, but the Company is true and committed...

For personal protection, I can't think of a better folding knife to carry with me. It opens very easily and is very difficult to have it taken away from you with the ring feature. Fits the hand very well. As soon as I received my shipment, several people held and played with the knife and ALL are planning on buying it the future. Getting a training knife also allows me to practice without danger of cutting myself or others. Definitely worth the price.

Incredible quality. By far the best folding knife I've ever had. Smooth open, faster draw than any other knife I've used. Extremely sharp, no problems at all.

The retention ring is rounded out, allowing for comfortable extending of the Karambit. Low profile and a sturdy pocket clip enable use of the occupied pocket. The trainer feels and behaves like the knife, making the trainer my new favorite training toy for the summer.

This knife fits my hand perfectly, and its construction quality is excellent. Having a trainer that matches it in size, weight, balance, and construction quality is a big plus, too. I prefer a straight or swept blade, but for an instantly-deployable folder, this knife is incredibly hard to beat.
